Laser blast would have been a Multiplayer FPS game.
The game would have focused on more skill-based combat, and would have a combat style similar to Ultrakill.
However, the game would only have 3 weapons.
A pistol
Your fist
And 3 grenades
The game would have different variants of the pistol, each having a different function.
The default stats for the pistol would be:
12 Shots per clip
40 Damage
3 Shots per second
A standard one with standard stats
A dualies version where you get two pistols that each have half the damage of the normal pistol, but can be fired and used seperately. This would also have a quicker reload time and fire rate than the normal one
A more shotgun style one where it would only have 4 shots per ammo clip, but would do more damage. It's fire rate would be slightly slower.
The grenades would be able to be parried with the player's fists, which are always availible.
If the player is using the dualies, they would kick instead.
This was mainly cancelled, due to a lack of coding knowledge on how to do certain functions in the game.
I also lost motivation for it during development, turning development from a fun hobby into an annoying chore.
This was my third game I have worked on
